At Swans Creek Elementary School, our counseling program takes a comprehensive and developmental approach to support students in building educational, career, and personal/social skills. Our goal is to help every child become a successful and engaged learner. The program is proactive and preventative, working collaboratively with teachers and staff to remove barriers that may hinder student growth and achievement.

· Individual Counseling: Available on an as-needed basis to help students adjust to school or address personal concerns.

· Classroom Guidance Lessons: Monthly lessons for every class focusing on personal/social development, bullying prevention, child protection, academic skills (e.g., study habits), and career awareness.
